The SICK range of vision sensors is now a standard in the field of machine vision and industrial identification.
With the sensingCam SEC100 / SEC110 family, SICK introduces a new line of intelligent 2D cameras designed to combine real-time video streaming, event recording, and industrial robustness in a single compact device.
Industrial vision and advanced identification
Thanks to SICK’s expertise in vision and traceability technologies, the SEC100 / SEC110 series enables you to:
- Acquire high-resolution images up to 5 Mpixel (2880 × 1616 px);
- Record video and images up to 30 fps;
- Manage streaming on RTSP and MJPEG protocols, with H.264/H.265 compression;
- Store locally or transfer data via FTP thanks to 6 GB of internal memory.
Each device is equipped with a “Powerful in low light” color CMOS sensor, which guarantees image quality even in minimal lighting conditions, and a field of view of up to 82°, with operating distances from 0.3 to 10 meters.
Robustness and simplified integration
The industrial design of the sensingCam combines aluminum and polycarbonate in an IP65 enclosure, with an M12 D-coded Ethernet connection and 12-24 V DC power supply.
Its low weight (120 g) and typical power consumption of only 2 W make it ideal for installation on production lines, automated vehicles, or supervision systems.
The web server interface and REST API enable easy integration into automation systems, MES, or cloud IoT, simplifying the acquisition and management of visual data.
Typical applications
The flexibility of the SEC100/SEC110 sensingCam makes it an effective solution for:
- Production line monitoring and quality control with automatic event logging;
- Logistics supervision and goods tracking during loading/unloading phases;
- IoT/Industry 4.0 integration, with data transmission to the cloud or MES system;
- Security and surveillance applications for industrial areas.
The benefits for industry
- Integrated viewing and traceability in a single device;
- Real-time streaming and recording;
- Easy installation and configuration;
- High resistance to external agents (IP65);
- Compatibility with industrial Ethernet networks.
