Axioline Smart Elements – The Compact and Flexible Solution by Phoenix Contact

Axioline Smart Elements are plug-in I/O modules without system and without bus communication.

The single element only has I/O functionality. Bus communication for the respective I/O system is only connected to a backplane that works in a similar way to an adapter. Axioline Smart Elements can therefore be used in a universal and flexible way.

With a size of 15 mm x 62 mm, up to 16 connections can be made on an Axioline Smart Element. It is possible to connect the conductors with a section of up to 1.5 mm² with a ferrule, including the plastic collar.

• Push-In connection technology

All Axioline Smart Elements are equipped with a Push-in connection technology for a particularly fast signal connection.

• System-independent interface

Axioline Smart Elements can be integrated into different solution concepts through a system-independent interface.

• Manual release mechanism

The Axioline Smart Elements can be easily inserted into load-bearing modules with a suitable interface. Removal is child’s play thanks to a simple unlocking mechanism.
