Measurement and inspection on large surfaces! This is the function of In-Sight 9912, the Cognex inspection system for smart industrial cameras.

The high resolution of this system (12MP) allows you to capture various details even if mounted at a long distance (allowing safe distance from dangerous equipment or conveyor belts). One of the advantages of the In-Sight 9912 vision system lies in the ability of the camera to be a valid alternative to multiple camera applications. This feature allows a cost reduction and calibration requirements, without forgetting the reduced space that the camera occupy within the production lines. The system does not require any programming, as it is totally configurable and easy to integrate.

The acquisition of images can take place via linear or area scanning without giving up resolution! The vision system has obtained an IP67 degree of protection, this means that the camera housing protects the system from liquids and dust that may come from outside. All acquired images are stored on an SD card inside the camera.

If in the past PC-based or controller-based systems were used to solve certain applications, today In-Sight 9912 simplifies your activity, thanks to the “EasyBuilder” interface that offers direct access to industrial vision tools.

Image processing technologies:

• HDR technology: it increases the contrast throughout the image without reducing the speed of acquisition
• CMOS, technology used for the design of integrated circuits: high sensitivity compatible with C-mount lenses
• 12MP resolution: it allows detection of small defects in a wide visual field
